Oil paintings of a couple sitting in a sailboat on a lake.

Two figures in a sailboat on reflective water appear in a vertical painted scene bordered by dark wooded banks. Large cream sails rise above the small pale hull, their curved edges catching light against shadowed brown and green foliage.

The figures wear light clothing and sit near the rear of the boat. A slender mast and dark rigging divide the bright sail shapes, while warm reddish accents follow the lower edge of the hull.

Loose blue, gold and ivory strokes suggest rippling reflections beneath the vessel. A pale opening in the sky and brighter water on the right lead the eye past the boat into the distance of the scene.
