Oil painting – Country house near the river, blue river, blue sky, summer forest.

Rustic cottages beside a river with golden foliage form a painted rural landscape beneath a softly clouded blue sky. Several wooden buildings with steep weathered roofs line the far bank among orange, yellow and dark green trees.

Tall reeds and loose clumps of grass fill both sides of the foreground, framing a narrow stretch of dark reflective water. A small wooden landing with upright posts projects from the bank near the right side.

Warm highlights catch the cottages, treetops and grass tips, while deeper green shadows collect under the large tree on the left. Visible brushlike marks give the water and vegetation a textured, expressive appearance throughout the scene.
